Passcode Entry Not Working?

The passcode is one of the basic security features on the Apple Watch.

Many owners are reporting that the passcode entry falters after the first digit - that is you can only enter the first digit, any following digits are not accepted.

Solution: Reset. Hold the side button and then slide the Power Off choice to the right. To restart, hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.

BTW, this sort of reset seems to correct a number of anomalies.

Keynote Remote Control from Apple Watch

Noticed an update of considerable size, with mention of the Apple Watch.

So I loaded the update, created a quick 3-slide presentation and then opened Keynote from Apple Watch.
OK, yeah, yeah, got that.  Clicked continue:

It won't launch the presentation from the watch (expected) so I lit up the test presentation from my iPhone.
If you advance the slide at this point, getting to a previous slide is tricky.  Go to the next slide.

 Now do a long press.

Then hit the back key.  This gives you forward-backward capability.

I was then able to page through the presentation, controlling it from the watch.

Reply with Your Current Location on Apple Watch

So my daughter sends me a text message:

I was describing a dream I had....

I wanted to send my location as part of the reply.  So here's what to do:

1)  Do a "long press" (press and hold the watch face for 2 or more seconds).
Apple Watch Reply Options
2) Tap "Send Location". Apple Watch then sends your location.
Apple Watch Calculating Location
3) The recipient receives a map pinpointing your current location.
Location Delivered as Text Message
Note:  If Location Services is not enabled on your iPhone, you'll see the following message on the Apple Watch face.

A quick visit to Settings -> Privacy on the iPhone will fix that.
Apple iPhone Location Services Setting
Make sure Location Services setting is 'On".

Sweet!
